A series of online meetings were started by global members of Jesus Generation Ministries as a way of keeping fellowship with members, friends, and families around the world sometime in 2020. The good news of Jesus Christ as a central message of these meetings continued to give renewed hope to everyone who was connected to these meetings. A couple who are both scholars from Ohio University, and previously served as ministers at their home church (Jesus Generation) have since been inspired by God to reach out and form new relationships, with many more people (college students, families, professionals, and individuals from all walks of life) within the Athens, Ohio community and share the good news of Jesus with all.

As a fellowship and community, we believe that God longs for a people who are passionate about seeking Him, loving Him, and living for His glory, and that is a community we strive to be. Our anchor Bible scripture which is also captured in our community codename – GenerationP246, is Psalm 24:6 –
This is the generation of them that seek God’s face.

Our priorities and actions reflect our value system, and when we seek God, we honor Him as the King and Lord of our lives. This creates joy and harmony in our lives and gives us a sense of hope. Whatever methods (Events, programs, groups, etc.) we engage with, our end goal is to be a community where we all strive to be Christ-like and inspire others to do same.
